The origin of this instrumental comes from the song "I Ain't the Walrus" off of Danny!'s 5th studio album (Where Is Danny? 2009) It was produced by Alex Goose. I chose this beat because the horns have a very climatic presence. The looped drum roll is also very appealing. The beat kinda has a king-like feeling. ...as I walk down my castle's motte, I have my royal band throw-together on each side with their fuckin' trumpets and the flagmen behind them. I got muhfucka's throwing confetti everywhere for me. My jester is performing his ass off 'cause he knows he'll get booted if he doesn't bring about a smile on my face... But thats besides the point. I went in a completely different direction with this joint being that the lyrical content is the least bit of triumphant.

about
This song serves as my utterly honest confessional. I became a chronic liar at a very young age, eventually dragging into my teenage years. Telling exaggerated and often completely fictional stories about my life, in order to garner friends and relationships based on false foundations. It is an apology, a progression, and a culmination of the things I've said and done for the sake of being wanted which in turn made me selfish. Upon the completion of "Pseudo" I have gained acceptance of self.
lyrics
Who am I?
A compilation of lies
It's funny how truth can make you fuckin' reach your demise
A pseudo conception is what I presented to friends of mine
Let's play a game of, "What part of Jeph Barthold did you find?"
Nothin'. I told you that nigga be frontin'
Talkin' 'bout how he stuntin' when he don't amount to nothin'
Self-Attention was somethin' I couldn't prevent, so I went
to Gap outlets and spent every last cent
Drivin' home thinkin' how I'm gonna pay the rent
Man, God damn this fuckin' cycle I'm in
But boy, all this spinnin' is really feelin' fun
And if I keep my lies together I won't come out lookin' dumb
But eventually from my past I will run
Sooner or later they'll add things up and find the sum
How do I look now?
Do you like what you've befriended
The moment I said hi, is when it shoulda ended
All the fictional girls that I told you I sexed
Is that not why we talked? Don't it make you feel vexed?
Uh, I intended for you to feel pity
For a guy, that wanted nothin' but a peek of your titty
And you ain't hesitate for a second, that's what breaks my heart
You fell in love with an impostor from the start
I want all who I've met to be a pawn of my limbo
But fibs aren't things easily thrown out the window
That permanence is in the firmament of my dreams
And I'm afraid so I seek isolation by any means
I don't wanna straighten these seams with their condemning iron
To be honest I just want to be flyin' and kiss the stars of Orion.
Announcement to Audience Interlude:
ATTENTION! ATTENTION! UH HA!
UH, JEPH BARTHOLD, YES, JEPH BARTHOLD,
THE GREAT MAN YOU ONCE KNEW AND LOVED, HA!
HE'S A HOAX, HE'S A HOAX GUYS!
HE'S A FUCKING HOAX!
JEPH BARTHOLD IS NOTHING BUT A PSEUDO CHARACTER.
But when I touch earth
And see what my faulty character's worth
Was my happiness at the expense of others' hurt?
I can't simply digress when there's much to suppress
And I guess, there's no other way to rid of my stress
But to come clean and let 'em see who's behind the mask
Spent years tryin' to master MF DOOM's craft
But I can't grasp somethin' I'm not...
I can't grasp somethin' I'm not
Outro: 8X
Acceptance the greatest substance of your being
Reflect on yourself and ask, "Who are you being?"
Who are you being? 2X
